This week I was thinking a lot about if and how I wanted to make a trip to China. Monday till thursday was a normal work week, and the work made me think about other things, but China was very distracting. For monday I placed a photo of Mean and Shen playing on their Nintendo DS Lite. They love it and it is a very good solution for kids when they have to wait (in a restaurant for example). On tuesday Mean helped with the chicken, but it was still a bit frozen. She is so helpfull though! On wednesday the day started with lots of rain. I took the photo early in the morning. The tree is outside our window. I like the effect of drops of water against our window with the tree on the background. Bumba doesn't like to be photographed, he hates the flash. the only reason he is on this photo with eyes open, is that I prepared the camera and waited a few moments, when he opened his eyes again, I took the picture. I don't think he likes that though... The photo of friday is of Rudy's new car and him and the two black German Shepherds, Felyce and Kyona. He wanted me to take some photos of his car, of his car with him, and a few with the doggies in it. Saturday early morning I decided to book the tickets to Hong Kong for me and Shen. Now it's final! We'll travel to China on may 21st, and stay there for one week in the city where Shen was born. On sunday I mostly clean the stick insects box.

16-22 march 2009

I had a great week! Mean lost her third tooth on sunday, so I took a photo of her on monday to show. On tuesday my Cairn Terrier sweater that I ordered on the dog show arrived, it fitted! Love it! The photo of wednesday is of our baby German Shepherd Kyona. I wanted to take a photo like a Japanese artist (at least I think it's a Japanese artist), he or she takes the photos very close-up so the perspective is all gone. I tried to imitate that! The weather was extremely nice on thursday, I took a photo of the sunset from our parking space. The windmills almost didn't rotate. That's unique here. On friday morning Mean was very happy that we would go away for the weekend, so before going to school she took this happy/naughty face. The weekend was great! Very nice weather, we did a lot of stuff. The photo is of the kite at the beach. It is Mean's kite, she had it on her birthday and she loved to play with it. Just before we left for home, Mean and Shen jumped on the trampolines of the holiday parc. It was a great weekend!

This was my week. I said goodbeye to my geat colleague Reanne, she has a new job and leaved us last thursday. I also saw the first daisy in the grass in my garden on a sunny friday, and on saturday I went to the theatre with my good friend Kiky. We saw a group called Femmage, I love them very much! They sing wonderful, have so many funny acts and creative ideas, both Kiky and I wanted to jump on the stage and sing and play with them! Today on sunday it is a quiet day, it's raining and cold outside, and Rudy is not feeling well, so we'll stay at home and do "nothing".

I love this kit of Weeds and Wildflowers, it's great to make the Project 365 layouts! This was my week from 1 - 8 march. On march 8 Rudy's father celebrated his 80th birthday with all family members. It was a very nice afternoon with great Chinese food. From now on I will use this blog to publish my Project 365 layouts. Project 365 is a project where you take one photo every day and journal about it. I didn't start in on january 1st, because I wanted to finish other projects first before I started with Project 365.

Okay, so I have a personal blog too. Don't know what it will bring, but I'm happy with how it looks :-) For today I'll post a few photos of my ordinary life on an ordinary day.
